New CRSP US Stock & Indexes Database Format

We are thrilled to introduce the Environmental Suite by WRDS, a different take on an ESG database. The Environmental Suite measures pollutants rather than relative scores. It focuses on environmental compliance by reporting on inspections, violations, and enforcement actions by the US Environmental Protection Agency. The data is based in part on the EPA’s ECHO program, which covers over one million facilities nationwide.

WRDS has been notified by Refinitiv that the SDC Platinum desktop application will be no longer be available effective December 2023. This follows a similar change to the Datastream desktop application not long ago and aligns with their focus on their modern platforms, Refinitiv Workspaces and Eikon.
